1. In a shallow dish, beat egg. Dip chops into egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
2. In 2 quart oblong baking dish, arrange chops. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes.
3. Pour sauce over chops (sauce will splatter, as the dish is HOT...) Sprinkle with cheese, bake for an additional 5 minutes (or until chops are no longer pink.)
4. Serve with spaghetti or other pasta in spaghetti sauce.
