Cinnamon French Toast

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 200F. In a shallow bowl, beat the egg and egg whites until foamy with a wire whisk. Add the milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg; beat well.

2. Lightly spray a nonstick skillet with vegetable cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Dip four slices of bread in egg mixture, coating well.

3. Place coated bread slices in skillet, cook until golden brown (about one to two minutes per side.) Be careful as they will burn easily.

4. Transfer cooked slices to a plate, keep warm in oven; repeat steps 2 and 3 for the reamining four slices of bread.

5. Serve toast with maple syrup or cinnamon-sugar.
